Recently Sarah Palin has become a cultural phenomenon throughout this country. Whether you despise her, like most New Yorkers, or think she is the greatest thing to come into the McCain campaign, she has become a household name in a matter of a few weeks. We have never paid more attention to the Vice Presidential nominee than this year — considering that all a VP really has to do is control the Senate, and take over if the president dies. Now, this is where I think the controversy comes in. What if McCain is elected? What if he dies? Does Sarah Palin really have the skill set necessary to become president? In a time like this? I don’t think so, but many people seem to just not care. In a direct quote from my own mother “I don’t care if Sarah Palin has experience, she can go out, shoot a deer, gut it, and eat it for dinner. She is awesome.”
